Briar Rose Farm is much, much, more than a place to sleep!
Located 30 miles northwest of Asheville, near Hot Springs, North Carolina, in the heart of the southern Appalachian Mountains, Briar Rose Farm is a 160 acre old mountain farm. Recent rehabbing of the late 1800's original farm house was completed in 2003 using timber-framing techniques to make it a unique vacation rental. The one bedroom and loft allow us to accommodate 5 guests comfortably. The cabin is ideal for a couple, a family of four, five or two couples. 7 people can be accommodated by using the futon in the living room. Coupled with the farm experience, (Yes, our roosters really do greet the morning and our guests with crowing while the hens provide you with fresh eggs), the cool evenings, and the choice of an adventure just outside your cabin door; a trip to Briar Rose Farm is far more than a place to sleep! Where else are you greeted with a loaf of warm bread upon you arrival? Nightly or weekly, this cabin offers the opportunity to enjoy the numerous outdoor activities in the area or just stay "home" by the fireplace and the hot tub under the stars. Enjoy a campfire by the creek, visit with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, listen to our roosters welcoming the morning sun as it lights up your front porch. What a perfect way to begin your days in the mountains!
We now offer a Log Cabin just for Two!. Located above the farm, on it's own 86 acre farm, it provides a couple with a cozy, well appointed cabin complete with hot tub, lots of deck and porch space, views, and privacy. Just click here to see this special cabin!
Available in May, we will be offering a third cabin located in an incredible location! This little log cabin for 2-3 is situated on a knob above the farm with high mountain views, no buildings visible, no electric wires; just mountains. With a hot tub and fireplace, full kitchen, bath, 1 bedroom, and lots of deck and covered porch space, it is perfect for a secluded and enchanted get-a-way. Watch for the posting of pictures that will be ready soon.

The farm is also the home of Briar Rose Rock, selling landscape boulders and beautiful gray granite rock suitable for retaining walls, Japanese gardens, waterfalls, and special hardscapes. The rock is sold regionally by the ton.

We now take One Night reservations for one or two people.
Single nights are available Sunday through Thursday nights only and are excluded from the above specials
$150.........Per Weeknight (Sunday through Thursday)
$160........Per Weekend Night (Friday and Saturday)
$900........Per Week (Book 6 nights and stay a 7th free)
These rates are for 1-5 people only. Additional persons will be charged $25 per guest per night. The cabin can sleep 7 people using the futon in the living room. 6.75% NC Sales tax will be added. There are no additional fees.

A two night minimum is necessary on weekends, that is generally a Friday and Saturday night.
A three night minimum stay for the holidays of New Years Eve, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, The July 4th Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
We regret that we can not allow your pets. Some of our animals run loose and really freak when they encounter a strange animal.
No indoor smoking allowed. The cabin is and has always been a smoke free building. You may smoke out of doors.
Arrangements can be made to have a registered Massage Therapist come to the cabin. Should you desire this service, please inquire when you make your reservations.
Payment Options
Deposit of 1/2 of total reservation is due within 10 days of reserving your dates. The remainder is due upon arrival. This works well for us, we are too small to take credit cards!
Cancellation Policy
Your deposit is refundable minus a $25 fee if we are notified of your cancellation at least 21 days in advance of your check in date. Cancellations received within three weeks of the check in date will be refunded with a $40 fee if the cabin is re-rented for the days of your reservation. If the cabin is not able to be re-rented, you will receive a partial credit, and may reschedule your visit at another time. While our weather is usually wonderful, we can not guarantee it to be so during your visit. Inclement weather does not alter our cancellation policy.

Because we farm, we are often away from the computer and phone. Early mornings, noon, and evenings are best for phone calls. We check our email often and it is often the best way to contact us initially. We will respond as quickly as possible.
