How we are looking forward to Spring! As nice as winter is with the quiet and occasional blanket of
snow, you can't beat spring on a farm in the mountains of North Carolina! Soon the pastures will green
and for a short while, it will look as if the whole landscape has been planned, trimmed, and manicured.
That's before we have to start beating it back.
But the best thing that happens in spring is the BABY GOATS, dancing and springing around the
barnyard in the sunshine, They arrived March 22nd and are sweet and friendly.
We also have lots of eggs, crowing roosters, and everyone is happy, including the farmers!
